Volvo Financial Services to open $1.5 billion U.S. office in New York
The Wall Street Journal reports that Volvo financial will open a $1 billion U-S.
financial center in New Yorkers’ backyard.
Volvo Financial is the world’s largest car rental company.
The company will also open a new office in Long Island City, New York, a city where its flagship fleet has a sizable customer base.
Volvos flagship fleet includes more than 300,000 vehicles.
The U.K.-based company is expected to hire 100 people at the New York office.
Volvee CEO Marko Mancuso announced the move on a Twitter post Wednesday, and Volvo also plans to hire more than 100 people in New Jersey.
Volves CEO Markos Matsumoto said the New Jersey facility would be responsible for assisting Volvos U.F.O. customers in their journeys from London to the U.N. headquarters in New Delhi.
